𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐯𝐬 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝 — 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞?

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐯𝐬 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝 — 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞?

In Industrial Machinery, understanding the difference between 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝 and 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝 is important when selecting the right Machine Support and Vibration Isolation Solution.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝

Static load is the 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝 acting on a machine when it is stationary or operating under steady conditions.

•          Constant / Steady Load

•          Mainly related to Machine Weight

•          Produces a constant force

•          Example: Machine body and fixed components

𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝

Dynamic load 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭, 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 generated by the Machine.

•          Changing / Moving Load

•          Caused by Impact and Motion

•          Produces Variable Forces

•          Example: Presses, CNC machines and other Moving Machinery

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫?

A Machine Mount should be selected based not only on the Machine's Weight, but also on the Dynamic Forces Generated during Operation. Correct load consideration helps achieve better Machine Stability, Alignment, and Vibration Isolation.

At 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, we Engineer Machine Mounting solutions designed to handle both static and Dynamic Loading conditions.

𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

4-step guide to checking and levelling machine mounts for better vibration control.

𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

A Properly Levelled Machine is the first step toward better Stability and Effective 𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥.

Follow this simple 𝟒-𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤:

1.         Place the Level – Keep a spirit level on the machine base.

2.         Check Front to Back – Make sure the bubble is centered.

3.         Check Side to Side – Rotate the level 90° and check again.

4.         Adjust if Needed – Turn the adjustment bolt until the bubble is centered in both directions.

𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐓𝐢𝐩: A correctly Levelled Mount helps improve Machine Stability, Reduce Unwanted Vibration, and Support Longer Machine Life.
